Come join us for an early morning stroll and enjoy the first calls and songs of the day. Birds are most active in the morning when they forage for breakfast. We go to different habitats in and around Selangor - lowland forests, mangroves, paddy fields, sub-montane and montane. Check our Calendar for the next Day Trip.
Who can join?
Day Trips are open to members of the Malaysian Nature Society (MNS) only unless otherwise specified*. Not a member yet? No worries, you can sign up and pay up on the spot and join us for the day's trip.
* Look out for the next Open events - these are open to members and non-members of MNS.
First time birding?
Haven't got a pair of binoculars (or bins in birders' talk) yet? Fret not. We have bins for loan. There will also be volunteers with their spotting scopes to share - just queue up for a closer look.
