Signs of a stressed bird

It is time to back off, when:

• The bird tries to attract your attention by flying in front of you.
• It tries to lure you away from a position.
• A bird carrying food is perched at one position for a long time - it's afraid to go to its nest to feed its young because you are there.
• A bird carrying nesting material is perched at one position for a long time - it doesn't want to alert you to its nest.
• A bird repeatedly gives the alarm call - learn what an alarm call sounds like.
